Dance Up A Storm
by admin on Aug.29, 2011, under chords, Daniel, lyrics
F#m C#
When I asked
If you’d dance up a storm
I figured you knew I meant figuratively
Now, literally
We’re in a downpour
Let’s dance some more

There’s Still Time to Change the Road You’re On
by admin on Aug.27, 2011, under chords, Daniel, lyrics
B dim / Bm
Are you ready
For a new day
Are you ready
For a new way
A new age
A new view
From a new sage
Are you
A new interpretation from a new sage
’cause ready or not
Hear it comes
Add your figures
Check the sums
Are you
Ready for a new view
Where you take YOUrself
Out of you
And, see you
The real you
Are you?
Surf’s up
Are you ready to ride
No place to hide
No sense to run
Might as well ride
Have you heard the word
Pick up a sword
We’ll slice our way to a new day

Liquid Sunshine
by admin on Aug.15, 2011, under chords, Daniel, lyrics
C / C7
A little drop of light
Had the might
To creep and peep
Through the shadows of a cloud
And, shine a drop on me
Like angels singing aloud
Liquid sunshine
Makes ya feel feel fine
A little drop of light
Feels alright
Liquid sunshine
Divine

Rainy Day Song
by admin on Aug.14, 2011, under chords, Daniel, lyrics
C / Cm
What shall we do
On such a rainy day
Do you want to
Come over and play?
I’ve got a studio
Oh, oh, oh
For you and I,
I, i, i
You can plug right in
And, begin
To play
For the rest of the day
What shall we do
On such a rainy day
Do you want to
Come over and play?

Nobody Knows
by admin on Jul.19, 2009, under Sir Vent Meets The Boss
lyrics
Nobody knows
Nobody knows
No one knows
Just because
Now, all is was
Nobody knows
Nobody knows
Just because
All that is… was.
Nobody knows
The Earth did quake
And, demons shake
Nobody knows
And, everything that is
Turns to was
Just because
The Earth did quake and shake
You take, take, take
Nobody knows
About The Song
The song is a 6 track recording made on the Roland Boss BR-600. Two of the tracks are live piano recorded in stereo, and there are two stereo 2-tracks of vocals.
The song is about the devastation a spouse can bring on a family through abuse and abandonment. Why would someone do that? Nobody knows.
Oh, Well

Though most of my recordings are extemporaneous, there is no one way that I write and record songs. This song is unusual in that it became part of many live performances, yet had never been recorded. So, I started recording a wide variety of renditions. Below is a link to a few:
